RCMP Major Crime Unit looking for possible discarded firearm

 

Sherwood Park, Alta. – The RCMP Major Crimes Unit is requesting the assistance of residents living in the Clarkdale Meadows, Lakeland Ridge, Chelsea Heights, Charlton Heights and the Clover Bar Ranch areas of Sherwood Park, Alta.

 

The alleged firearm used in a homicide that occurred on May 7, 2021 in Sherwood Park has not been located and police believe it could have been discarded in the above neighbourhoods.

 

Police are requesting residents to check around their yards and sheds to ensure the discarded firearm is not on their property.

 

If you locate a firearm, do not touch or handle and immediately call the Strathcona County RCMP at 780-467-7749.
