Strathcona County RCMP investigates home invasion

 

Strathcona County, Alta. - On Jan. 19, 2021 at 6:39 a.m., Strathcona County RCMP responded to an alleged home invasion at a residence located near Range Road 224 and Township Road523 in Sherwood Park, Alta.

 

Two females and a male were sleeping inside the residence when two male suspects wearing masks entered the home. One suspect was in possession of a firearm and they both took several items from the residence including electronics, jewellery and clothing. The male victim sustained minor injures during an altercation and was taken to hospital and later released. The two female victims did not sustain any injuries.

 

The suspects stole a Silver 2006 Chevrolet Silverado (CGR 7256) as they left the property.
