Strathcona County RCMP request assistance locating missing female 

Strathcona County, Alta.- Strathcona County RCMP are requesting public assistance in locating missing 37-year-old female, Rita Marie Elger. Rita was last seen at her residence on Jan. 21, 2025 in Sherwood Park, Alta. There is concern for her safety and well-being.

Rita is described as:

  • 5 feet 8 inches tall;
  • 155 pounds
  • Brown hair (currently has hair extensions)
  • Brown eyes;
  • Last seen wearing a long black winter jacket with fur around collar and blue jeans.
